leaving on holiday

i’ll be without a kitchen for two entire weeks. while i love sailing, and camping (as long as its good weather) i really am going to miss the comfort of my kitchen. i’ll be stuck eating fire-food- or smoked salmon, mac & cheese, fried eggs, and lots of quesadillas. i’ve been considering going on a vegan kick, but that’s not going to happen now, not until the end of august if at all. hopefully i’ll survive cooking over that little itty bitty campfire for the next two weeks- i suppose if all goes wrong, i can call for delivery. ha ha ha. sometimes i crack myself up.

the last time i ate food while camping was last july near small point. i had a half raw, not rare mind you, hamburger, charred corn (don’t get me wrong, i like grilled corn) and overly crispy baguette (the most edible thing all night) we left the next morning due to the torrential down-pours and possibly food poisoning on my end.
i’ll be back in a jiff. well, in two weeks. malnourished and 10lbs lighter.
enfin
postscriptum: i’ve packed a stash of tea, and granola with me… just incase. i would have brought some produce and balsamic if i had more time…and if the produce remained fresh.
